Al igual que en los Golden Globes de este año, Succession, The Bear y Beef fueron las grandes ganadores en los Emmy 2024, premios que, recordemos, fueron postergados en septiembre por las huelgas de actores y guionistas de Hollywood. Esta 75ª edición, presentada por Anthony Anderson, se llevó a cabo el lunes 15 de enero en el Peacock Theatre de Los Angeles, California y que en la Argentina se pudo ver por TNT y HBO Max.
Ahora bien, como les contábamos, la Academia de Artes y Ciencias de la Televisión premió a muchas series y actores reconocidos. Sin embargo, los que más festejaron y se llevaron las estatuitas de los Emmy fueron los equipos de Succession (ganando como serie dramática por tercera vez) y The Bear, que empataron con seis premios cada uno. Justo detrás, con cinco premios Emmy, quedó la serie limitada de Netlix Beef. También, cabe destacar que el ícono de la música Elton John alcanzó el estatus EGOT con la victoria de Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium como mejor especial en vivo.
