PlayStation Plus Extra y Premium surgió inicialmente como una respuesta de Sony al Game Pass de Microsoft. Sin embargo, a lo largo del tiempo el servicio fue mejorando increíblemente, y en la actualidad ofrece una gran cantidad de juegos para que cualquier persona disfrute de ellos en su PlayStation 4 o 5.
En cuanto a los juegos que se unen este mes al servicio, destaca el lanzamiento de Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Dishonored 2 o Watch Dogs Legion.
