La Academia de Artes y Ciencias de la Televisión volvió a reconocer a la excelencia en la programación televisiva estadounidense en la 76ª edición de los Premios Emmy. En esta importante noche para la industria se lucieron tres series en particular: Shōgun, The Bear y Baby Reindeer. ¿Qué otros se llevaron la estatuilla?
La 76ª entrega de los Emmy, que estuvo bajo la conducción de los actores Eugene Levy y Dan Levy (el primer dúo de padre e hijo en presentar el evento), tuvo como gran ganadora a Shōgun, serie que se llevó 18 Premios Emmy, un récord histórico para una sola temporada de televisión. Desde mejor serie dramática y director, hasta mejor actor (Hiroyuki Sanada) y actriz principales (Anna Sawai), entre otros.
Junto a los 11 premios que ganó The Bear, FX superó a todas las demás cadenas en victorias totales y lideró con un total de 36 victorias en la 76ª edición de los Premios Emmy. Esta es la primera vez en 15 años que la cadena líder de la noche no es Netflix (que quedó en segundo lugar con 24 victorias) o HBO (con 14).
